Conducting Corrosion Tests as per the set criteria.
Carry out Chemical, Mechanical and Metallurgical tests in the metal Laboratory as required by the mill order.
Follow ISO, Aerospace and Nuclear quality system requirements.
Organize sample collection, preparation for testing.
Keep Laboratory organized and clean.
Performs inspections and testing of raw material, material in process and finished product as required.
Reports shift Quality Data to QA Manager on a daily basis.
Coordinate with Lab Supervisor on a daily basis for work to be performed.
Additional activities as assigned.
Requirements:
Initiates and coordinates data collection Uses statistical methods & creates reports Basic knowledge of computers and relevant software packages Knowledge of gauging methodology and metrology Skills and Competencies:
High school with some working knowledge of a metals Laboratory Minimum 2 years' experience in metal testing laboratory.
Good communication and interpersonal skills Must be able to communicate fluently in both written and spoken English Employee
