Salaried Advanced Power & Energy (APE) based in Greenville, PA has over 35 years of industry leading experience in the power distribution, energy management and control industry that offer solutions in a broad spectrum of areas that include Level 3 Electrical Vehicle charging systems, large motor starting and custom solutions for the ever-changing power needs of today's market.
APE has an immediate opening for an initiative-taking Project Manager who has a desire to join a growing technological leading-edge company to join its staff to develop its product lines and custom solutions.
This position requires planning and oversight of all company projects to ensure effective execution of required tasks by the project team.
Job Roles and
Responsibilities:
Define and document project scope, goals, and objectives to achieve the desired outcome.
Prepare a budget based on project scope and adhere to budgetary allocation.
Prepare project timeline to adhere to required delivery requirements.
Assess areas of potential risk and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Estimate resource requirements needed to achieve the project deliverables.
Design a work plan for team members defining expectations of each to achieve the project goals.
Manage interdepartmental coordination to ensure smooth project execution.
Track project performance periodically at critical milestones to ensure both short-term and long-term goals are on track to being met.
Create and manage contracts with suppliers and vendors, ensuring timely deliveries.
Create and maintain detailed project documentation.
Use the right tools and techniques for effective project monitoring and performance.
Provide project updates to stakeholders as needed and requested.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree in an engineering or technical field from an accredited university.
5 or more years of experience managing technical projects of diverse sizes and types.
Extensive knowledge of project management best practices.
Working knowledge of available project management tools such as Microsoft Project.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate information to solve complex problems.
Strong organizational, time management and interpersonal relationship skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing work environment.
Compensation:
Salary Range between $70,000 and $90,000 per year.
